How are JapanCrafts knives made?

Every knive is hand-forced by our professional blacksmiths which have over 35+ years experience. Only the highest materials are selected when hand-crafting our knives. Multiple detailed hand inspections are carried out to ensure that it surpasses our exceptionally high standards before leaving our factory.


How do I clean my knives?

Hand wash your knives after each use, then dab dry. Never machine wash your knives. We recommend slightly oilling our knives often (cooking oil is fine).


How long will the knives stay sharp?

We are known for the sharpest knives in the world, this is why we use the highest grade materials to ensure to ensure our blades stay sharp for as long as possible. If cared for correctly our knives will last for a lifetime. Occasional sharpening is recommend to keep the out of the box sharpness.

Tracking

Please allow up to two working days for tracking to be attached to your order. Once tracking is available, your tracking code will be attached to your order which you will then recieve an email confirmation. You can either use our onsite tracking or go directly to the shipping providers website.

How long weill my order take to arrive?

We deliver our handcraftet products in 5-7 daysto your doorstep. The shipping is free on all order. Upgraded shippinigis available at checkout.


Where do you hold your stock?

We hold stock in both Osaka (JPN) and Manchester (UK). Depending on stock levels this will determinate where your order is shipping from.

Can I cancel my order?

Please note that we are only able to make changes to your oder if it has not been fulfilled. If you want to adjust or cancel our order, please contact a member of our support team as soon as possible. Please note if 12 hours have passed since placing your order we cannot guarantee adjustments as we start processing orders immediately.


If I order multiple items will they arrive together?

We aim to shipping all order together, depending on the items, we may have to split your order due weight restrictions set by our shipping providers.


How can I modify my order?

Please note that we are able to make changes to your order if it has not been fulfilled. If you want to change anything in your order including the address, please contact us within 12 hours of placing your order.


Will I have to pay import fees?

If you are placing your order internationally your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The general amount for the duties and taxes fee is about 20% of the dollar amount of the merchandise. However, this is just a general guideline and mayy vary depending on the country to which the order was shipped. You should contact your customs office for specific amounts and percentages.

JapanCrafts cannot control and is not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.
