WE FIGHT THE CAUSES
By partnering with the EDEN Project, we are preserving natural forests and engaging local communities in Madagascar to make a difference. Together, the organization is actively fighting deforestation through tree planting projects that have already made an impact - 776 million trees and mangroves! This wonderful project not only allows us to protect these precious forests, but it also creates jobs for 8800 people in the region. Firefighting and tree nurseries for further replanting are also permanently supported.

GOOD AND FAIR PAYMENT
Fair payment of local workers plays a crucial role in reducing the pressure on families to use or even destroy the newly created tree areas. Fair payment gives them the opportunity to secure a stable income and improve their living conditions. Another important step is to promote alternative heating sources such as solar ovens. By making it easier for people to access these, we are helping to reduce wood consumption. We are also establishing commercial forests, i.e. fruit and fast-growing timber. This is then managed for many years and creates further sources of income for the population.
